
Vanilla Fig Cold Brew
We’re ringing in the first Monday of the fall season with this delicious Vanilla Fig Cold Brew. It’s perfect for crisp mornings or an afternoon pick-me-up.
Ingredients
• 8oz Bizzy Cold Brew (we used Espresso Blend)
• 8 figs, chopped
• 1/2 cup organic sugar
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp lemon juice
• Splash of cream (optional)
• Sliced fig for garnish (optional)
Directions
To make the Vanilla Fig Simple Syrup:
1. Combine the chopped figs, sugar, water, vanilla extract, and lemon juice in a saucepan.
2. Gently mash the figs and simmer over low-medium heat until the mixture thickens.
3. Let it cool, then strain the syrup into a jar and store it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
To prepare the Cold Brew:
1. Fill a glass with ice, add 8oz Bizzy Cold Brew, and 1-2 tablespoons of the Vanilla Fig Simple Syrup.
2. Add a splash of cream if desired, and garnish with a sliced fig.
