We love this with the "root beer float" recipe! (1/2 cup Zevia root beer, 1/2 cup decaf, a splash of cream). Wow, SO good! It's our evening mocktail.

I've been looking for a coffee blend well suited for cold brew. I've recently been so disappointed in my cold brew creations. They've been tasting a bit like dirt.I was so pleasantly surprised when I made the Bizzy coffee. It's delicious and so smooth.I like the course grind and feel like it made a big difference. Bizzy really makes the best cold brew coffee and it truly is sweet and smooth. The coffee grounds are perfect in size and the aroma is heavenly to say the least. When you cold brew, you really have to make sure the grounds are thoroughly and well exposed and saturated to and with water. I strongly recommend brewing up to at the bare minimum 24 hours if not more. I have tried cold brewing using Bizzy sweet and smooth at 15 hours, 18 hours, 20 hours, 24 hours and 30 hours to experiment which brewing time inside the fridge gave me the best results. Of course this is entirely based upon my personal preference, but the way I like my cold brew is naturally very sweet, least bitterness as possible and without adding anything - just drink it black. I want a strong coffee taste and no watered-down color or taste. Personally, 24-28 hours was the sweet spot. Especially at 15-20 hours, the bitterness still came through and it wasnt strong and even the color wasnt that dark or impressive. I learned that with Bizzy medium roast, you really have to take your time in order to get that smooth and sweet flavor that it is intended to give you. I used 10-12 tablespoons of coffee grounds to 3 bottles of spring water. It came out to be super sweet, indeed smooth to the palate, and went down my throat silky and velvety. I bought Starbucks cold brew nitro and drank some of it then my Bizzy brew to compare. I was surprised to find out that I personally liked Bizzy more. It was sweeter and smoother. I plan on trying that experiment after I buy Bizzy dark roast and see how that goes. Anyway, of course its all personal preference, but I know for a fact if I ever want cold brew, I will never find the need to buy some from Starbucks moving forward.

Did I write a review for Bizzy last year? I honestly can't remember, but it's summer again so it's time to break out the cold brew pitcher and stock up on Bizzy! I love this brand for making at home cold brew. I have tried both Smooth & Sweet and Light & Bright, and while I prefer light roasts for traditional coffee brewing, I definitely prefer Smooth &Sweet for cold brew. It has such a rich flavor. I brew it at a 4:1 ratio for 30-40 hours in the refrigerator, giving me a wonderfully strong 3:1 concentrate that I have over ice with Almond Milk. And the price for Bizzy is comparable to any gourmet coffee on the market, making it a great buy!

I am telling you that if you are a cold brew drinker this is the brew. EXCELLENT.

I processed my cold brew with the toddy and it worked well the grind. I got the smooth and sweet version - since there was a bold option and light option, I assumed this would be more of a medium roast. But it felt a bit too dark for my tasting (I exclusively like light roast coffee, but heard light roast 05/be a bit too watered down in a cold brew version). But maybe hot and cold grind type aligns better than the internet suggests! But if you like a medium-dark, this would be fitting!

Purchased this to use for my new cold brew pot. It is truly wonderful! There are very few brands that I enjoy and this will definitely be at the top of my list.
